Opening day for Tamarack Resort’s new mountain biking shuttle service July 4
DONNELLY, Idaho– In late May, Tamarack Resort announced a new mountain biking program that will include shuttle services and bike rentals for the summer of 2015.
Beginning July 4th the 10-passenger shuttle will run from the Sports Dome to mid-mountain on Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day.
The shuttle mountain biking experience will challenge even the most advanced rider. The shuttle will leave the Sports Dome every hour on the hour beginning at 10 a.m.
The half-day scheduled shuttle runs are from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 1 to 4 in the afternoon.
This service will give riders the opportunity to take in 1,800 feet of vertical drop per ride. It is up to each individual rider as to how many shuttle rides he or she would like to take in a day.
“The shuttle service for mountain biking will begin the process of putting Tamarack Resort back on the mountain biking map,” said Brad Larsen, resort general manager. “Guests have not seen this type of program at the resort since 2007 and we are very excited with this new service.”
Shuttle tickets and mountain bike rentals will be offered inside the Sports Dome at the resort. Both downhill and cross-country mountain bikes will be available for rent.

In addition to mountain biking, Tamarack Resort offers a wide variety of activities for people of all ages. The hiking trails are already open for use as well as the 18-hole disc golf course. Whitewater rafting trips and zip line tours occur daily and can also be booked through the activities desk by calling 208.325.1030.
The resort now offers a waterfront cabana with motorized and non-motorized watercraft activities.
